For students

The number of Engineers produced in India every year is huge and only very minimal number of students are employable directly. The students out of professional courses are way behind the industry expectations and if we look at the skills, the students lack in application of learned knowledge which is otherwise called as experiential learning. This is NOT a problem from the students but Academia and the Industry need to do something towards this as there is a considerable proportion of students who are first generation learners and first generation graduates.

With this understanding if you as a student are willing to put in efforts to stand out from the rest,  we guys are more than willing to work with you to guide you towards your career dreams.

How do we [You and the mentors] move towards this :
  1. You select a theme [area of interest in the field of computers]
  2. Write out what has motivated you to take the field and what you have so far tried and achieved in that. Just a couple of paragraphs. It always helps to write it out plainly and clearly.
  3. Drop it over an email to <    > along with your college details and academic details. [Hey the mentors details are there in this page, just check it out in Mentors link]
  4. Just give the mentors a day and one of them will contact and get in touch with you.

All we need from you is NO money, NO favors but a commitment to strive and pursue the field as an expert and not an average person.

The following is the plan to move towards becoming a stand out person :
  1. Initial discussion to have an understanding between you and the mentors.
  2. Identify the allied areas to consider in your goal. [C'mon databases need file structure, security needs algorithms, OS needs computer architecture, Networks need graph theory ... so lets just jot them down]
  3. You chalk out the plan for moving towards the goal by discussion
  4. The methodology will not be more lectures / notes [I for one slept when lectures were boring ;-) so we will stick to practical things. ] We will discuss the case studies how good decisions were made, why they were made and what pitfalls loom.
  5. We move forward.

Mentors do NOT do coaching for your semester studies, but they will always help you in getting a grasp of the concepts.
